Clinical Evaluation of RAPID TEST Kits

HIV

IPP has helped us speed up the progress of two rapid HIV test products using oral fluid and urine. Standard medical samples, reputable experts, testing procedures according to requirements and especially very good prices compared to the market. We will definitely prioritize cooperation with IPP in upcoming projects. - Aria Y - Company specializing in manufacturing rapid tests in Hangzhou, China.

We understand that it takes many months, even years, to complete a pre-clinical trial for a test kit product with a specific patient group such as HIV. However, IPP supported Aria and her project to complete the trial in just over 1 month, including approaching patients, negotiating contracts with hospitals and laboratories, and completing reports.

In fact, in recent years, on average each year, Vietnam has recorded over 13,000 newly discovered HIV cases, mainly among gay men and women working as prostitutes...

Up to now, Vietnam has over 249,000 living cases of HIV/AIDS. The Vietnamese government also cares and creates conditions for HIV-infected patients to go to hospitals for examination and treatment.

For that reason, IPP has entered into cooperation agreements with leading HIV hospitals, clinics, and laboratories to be able to reach patients and serve clinical trials as quickly as possible. In particular, IPP always balances ensuring project progress and customer budget resources. Therefore, we always have many different research implementation options for customers to choose from.

SYPHILIS
In recent years, the number of syphilis patients has also increased significantly. In Vietnam, syphilis accounts for about 2 - 5% of all sexually transmitted infections, equivalent to 9,000 cases/year.

IPP is a partner of dermatology hospitals, social disease clinics... - which are centralized medical examination and treatment units for syphilis. Therefore, we always have available patient data suitable for many types of rapid test products. Thanks to that, we are confident that we can help customers minimize the testing time of their rapid test kits.

For example, in a cooperation project with A* Company (Beijing - China), it only took IPP 2 weeks to conduct pre-clinical testing for an HIV/syphilis rapid test combo product. , including collecting samples, testing and comparing with results performed using the Elisa/TPPA method, writing reports. We quickly quote prices for all of these processes to customers after receiving the request - completely based on practical experience and available advantages - thus minimizing other costs incurred.

DENGUE
In Vietnam, in the last 5 years, the dengue epidemic has become increasingly complicated. In the period 2019 - 2023, Vietnam will have two epidemic peaks in 2019 (more than 334,231 dengue cases) and 2022 (recording a record of 367,729 cases).

We have a team of exclusive collaborators working at Tropical Hospitals, Infectious Diseases Institute and Infectious Diseases Department, so access to disease sources is very quick and the cost is much better.

OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES

IPP has a lot of experience working with hospitals, clinics, and laboratories specializing in supporting other groups of infectious diseases such as gonorrhea, HPV, genital warts... With the ability to access a large number of patient samples, Along with a team of collaborators, CRAs, and technicians currently working at medical facilities across Vietnam, this also helps optimize research costs for customers.

In addition, doctors and experts from hospitals, clinics, and laboratories are also professional advisors for our testing projects, ensuring quality when deployed.

Sourcing PATIENT SAMPLES

We understand that patients are the destination of all medical research. Patients are the driving force behind efforts to develop better, safer, and more targeted therapies. During contact with customers, IPP also receive many requests for support in sourcing patient samples for research.

Currently, IPP is the leading unit in Vietnam that can:

» Determine the feasibility of the project when deployed in Vietnam

» IPP is the only unit providing sample collection services, storing and preserving samples and carrying out procedures for transporting samples to other countries.

» Perform tests to confirm patient sample results.
